Vicki, I was out of state when I heard the tragic news of JT. I can't image what you and your family are going through. When I think of JT, I think of him always smiling and his love for BHS soccer. Our condolences to you and yours. May his memories be cherished in your hearts forever and give you strength each and every day. The Childs Family

Dear John, Vicki and Peter,
I haven't been able to find the words to express how sorry I am about your loss of J.T. It is especially hard when such a smart, good-looking and vibrant kid like J.T., on the edge of adulthood, is lost to the world. I am so sad that this pain has fallen upon you and your families.
My thoughts have been with you all, with hope that you are coping.
Sincerely,
Shawna Thompson Middleton

We are so sorry for your loss. We were praying as they were looking for JT. We saw him recovered, and watched as the young men tried to save him. We are praying for all of you now.
My daughter, age 7, has been very concerned for all of you. She talks of JT everyday, and tells everyone about him. She wrote you a letter...I hope one day to get it to you.
May God give you His comfort during this difficult time.
Please email me if I can ever be of any help.

Vicki: I am so so sorry for your loss, I just can't imagine your grief. I know you have so many wonderful memories of JT that they will stay with you forever. Cherish those memories, they'll help you get through. I didn't know JT personally but can only imagine what a wonderful person he was what with being brought up by a happy, cheerful person like you. Keep the faith.

My dear Vicki and all your family. The funeral for your dear son was so beautiful and meaningful for all of your friends who love you so. I wish I had known J.T. better but because I know you I know him. I will always remember him as when I told him he was the cutest lifeguard I had ever seen and how did he keep up with all the girls? He smiled and shruged his shoulders. His life was full and he had all of you and all of us to love him. My deepest sympathy. Carolyn Wolker

It’s so hard to put into words the sadness I feel for JT’s family and close friends. My daughter told me about the tragedy at the beach that day. Please know you have been in my thoughts and prayers.

I am truly sorry to hear about J.T. I just heard about the tragedy and wanted to extend my sympathy to you. He was a wonderful child while I knew him at Severn River Middle. He was bright, energetic, and always a good person. I will truly miss him. I again am very sorry and wish you nothing but peace for the rest of your lives.

As little as we knew JT, we also sympathize as parents with you. A quote that has brought me comfort is that it's important be happy for the time you had.
Our heartfelt condolences to you and all your family.

What a joy it was to watch JT defend our Broadneck goal in Boys soccer! He was so talented and full of life. May God Bless JT's family with comfort and peace at this confusing, sad time in your life.
