Quinton Walter Piper, 89, a resident of Millersville since 1999 and previously of Illinois, died after a brief illness Feb. 4 at home surrounded by family. He served in the Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was an avid woodcarver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Renee Piper, who died in 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn L. Piper of Mukwonago, Wis., and Lee R. Piper of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Lori Piper Miller of Millersville; one sister, Lillian Slipenko of Skokie, Ill.; and five grandchildren, Curtis, Ricky, Doreen, Emily and Christina.
