John Edward "J.T." Sackett III, 18, a resi
dent of Annapolis since 2003 and previously of Man-O-War Cay, Bahamas; Chatham, Mass.; and Southwest Harbor, Maine, died Sept. 25 at Wrightsville Beach, N.C., due to a weather-related water accident.
He was born May 2, 1991, in Hyannis, Mass. He graduated with honors from Broadneck High School and was currently attending University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
He played J.V. and varsity soccer. He loved all aspects of life, including music, art, athletics, and most of all, spending time with his friends. He was known for his smile and kind heart.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Vicki and Peter Howard; his father, John Edward Sackett Jr.; two sisters, Emma Howard and Skye Howard; and his maternal grandmother, Joan Ryan and paternal grandmother, Denny Sackett.
